Awapuhi ʻulaʻula

In “Awapuhi ‘Ula’ula” (Red Ginger), I wanted to capture the vibrant, untamed energy of Maui’s tropical landscape. Painted in rich, luminous oils, the flower’s sweeping crimson petals and intricate honeycomb crest burst forward against a swirling backdrop of deep ocean teals, marine blues, and bright chartreuse. Rooted in the mystical inspiration of Maui’s earth and sea, this piece is designed to bring a bold, authentic wave of island warmth directly into your home.
